Fiscal Responsibility
Every county dollar is a taxpayer's dollar. Mike believes in spending carefully, planning ahead, and putting money into projects that last — like roads, bridges and public safety facilities.
“I was put on this earth to serve others and would once again, truly enjoy the opportunity to serve all of Adams County.”— Mike Garza
Mike's campaign comes down to three plain promises — the same ones he has carried on every flyer, truck door and handshake down the parade route.
Every county dollar is a taxpayer's dollar. Mike believes in spending carefully, planning ahead, and putting money into projects that last — like roads, bridges and public safety facilities.
Steady, prepared and accountable. Mike brings the commissioner traits he has developed over four years of service, and the humility to keep listening to the people he works for.
Room for economic growth that brings opportunity home — while respecting the agriculture and farm infrastructure that Adams County was built on.
Mike isn't asking for a chance to learn the job. He's asking for the chance to keep doing it — and to finish what's already underway.
Mike's full experience is listed in the official voter's pamphlet — find it at VoteWA.gov.
We need to be open to allowing for economic growth, while trying to respect our agriculture infrastructure.
— Miguel “Mike” GarzaSearch me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
and see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
These are verses Mike holds close. Most people pray to be protected or blessed. In Psalm 139, David prays something harder: look inside me, test me, and show me where I'm wrong.
That is the kind of public servant Mike tries to be. A commissioner answers to the people of Adams County, and Mike welcomes that. He believes an honest leader should have nothing to hide — open books, open doors, and a willingness to be corrected and set back on the right path.
Mike's faith isn't a slogan. It's the reason he says he was put on this earth to serve others — and the standard he holds himself to every day he serves.
You'll find Mike where Adams County gathers — walking the parade route with a bucket of candy, his family riding along, stopping to shake every hand he can.
